Majority Leader Rodriguez and Minority Leader Simpson presented Senate Bill 26-121, concerning the overtime threshold for agricultural employees. The bill requires an agricultural employer to pay an employee an overtime rate for time worked in excess of 60 hours per work week. |

presented Senate Bill 26-081, concerning increasing agricultural employee
overtime protections. The bill requires that agricultural employees are
paid time and a half overtime for any work performed in excess of 40 hours
per week; 12 hours per workday; or 12 consecutive hours regardless of the
start and end time of the shift. |
