and explained House Bill 26-1030 Data Center and Utility Modernization.
The bill creates a state sales tax exemption for data centers that meet
certain requirements and establishes a new authority to administer the
tax exemption certificates and ensure compliance with requirements for
these data centers. Chair
Valdez introduced and explained the context of the strike below amendment
L.003 (Attachment A). After explaining efforts made on the bill, Chair
Valdez requested the committee postpone the bill indefinitely.
